Abstract

This paper aims to present the importance of work leave as motivation in increasing employee’s productivity. The methodology or approach used in this paper uses the method or library research, while data collection is carried out by examining or exploring several journals, books and documents (both printed and electronic) as well as data sources and or other information deemed relevant to this paper. The findings in the paper are the importance of giving work leave to increase employee productivity. With the time off work it will provide an opportunity for employees to stop for a moment from work routines and maintain physical and mental conditions, so that it can increase an employee's productivity and ultimately will have an impact on achieving targets, the company will have competitiveness and be able to maintain its survival.
